SUMMARY:Mindful Writing workshop
DESCRIPTION:Mindfulness is a way of entering the present moment and watching life unfold without judgement. It is a way to calm your busy mind and focus your attention. \nWith a mindful approach to creativity we can let go of any expectations and just see what happens! This workshop incorporates meditation\, discussion and interacting with natural forms such as rocks and shells\, using all of our senses to gather inspiration. \nThe workshop is hosted by Tom George\, a writer and musician with a special interest in mental health and wellbeing\, and poet and therapist Dennis Richards. \n“I really enjoyed this and found it has re-inspired my passion for writing. Thank you so much Tom” \n“Very inspirational workshop\, really got me thinking. Would definitely attend other workshops” \n“Really enjoyed it. Liked meeting new people and interacting” \nAll sharing of work is voluntary and non-judgemental. The venue is wheelchair accessible. There will be a break and drinks are available from the library cafe. \nCome with us and enjoy a creative exploration with no pressure involved! \nContact tomgeorgearts@hotmail.co.uk
