Join us for this month’s film\, La isla mínima. \nThe Manchester Central Library and the Instituto Cervantes Manchester present the Hispanic Film Club\, with a special series that celebrates the richness and diversity of Spanish-language cinema. This programme shines a spotlight on powerful stories of resilience\, identity\, and humanity\, all told through the lens of female directors. Join us on this cinematic journey as we explore the voices and visions of contemporary Hispanic filmmakers. \nFilm synopsis: The Spanish deep South\, 1980. A series of brutal murders of adolescent girls in a remote and forgotten town brings together two disparate characters – both detectives in the homicide division – to investigate the cases.
