DESCRIPTION:RAD\, Manchester’s home of retro\, awesome cult movies\, are back with one final cult American comedy to cap their season of shorts at Central Library\, celebrating the 20th anniversary of 10 Things I Hate About You. \nIn an updated version of Shakespeare’s Taming of the Shrew\, this film follows new kid\, Cameron James (Joseph Gordon-Levitt)\, who is head over heels for popular sophomore Bianca Stratford (Larisa Oleynik)\, but Bianca’s over-protective father forbids her to date Cameron unless Bianca’s older ill-tempered\, rebellious sister Kat (Julia Stiles) dates. But Joey Donner (Andrew Keegan) wants Bianca\, so he uses sullen senior Patrick Verona (Heath Ledger) to attempt to win Kat’s heart. Will Patrick be able to win Kat over and will Cameron be able to have Bianca? This quintessential teen movie paved the way for a barrage of copy cat films that followed it. \nDoors: 5.30pm
