The subsequent novels in Alexander McCall Smith’s series became a literary phenomenon\, and have since been translated into 46 different languages. A prolific and much-loved writer\, Alexander has written and contributed to over 100 books\, and his series\, 44 Scotland Street\, is the longest running serial novel in the world. Alexander is also a lover of tea\, travel and fried Marmite sandwiches. We’re delighted that he’s able to fit in a special visit to MLF to discuss his extraordinary career\, his unique characters\, and his latest Mma Ramotswe adventure\, The Colours of All the Cattle.
