I was born in Salford, in the North West of England in 1981. I live in Manchester and work in Salford, having lived for nine years in Liverpool. I love Manchester and Liverpool equally although I still have mixed feelings about Salford. I am teacher and a mother of two children, I am also a bit of a bitch, but only when it is strictly necessary.

I read my poems out loud occasionally although mostly I like to hide behind a screen. Most of my writing is observational which probably shows a great lack of imagination. I can also be found in the Whalley Range and Chorlton areas of Manchester generally hanging around and looking pretentious; most often whilst being judged by my children.
