Join us for an exciting and heartwarming event as we welcome the Waterstones Children’s Laureate: 2022 – 2024, Joseph Coelho! This award-winning performance poet, playwright, and children’s author is ready to enchant us with his captivating storytelling and poetry.
Get ready for a delightful journey into the world of Joseph’s wonderful picture book, My Beautiful Voice. This story follows a little girl who discovers her courage through the magic of poetry. Together, we’ll have fun guessing poetic riddles, pulling funny poetry faces, and learning how to find our own bravery through poetry. But that’s not all! Joseph will also treat us to lively readings from his collection Smile Out Loud: 25 Happy Poems. Presented by Manchester Literature Festival in partnership with Manchester Poetry Library.
