Display of Roman Artefacts

The Blackley Latin Reading Group is delighted to present a small exhibition of Roman artefacts at Manchester Central Library.  On Saturday 31st October the community study group will display fragments of Roman pottery from a former military base in the Peak District.

There will also be a selection of  high-quality Roman coins for people to see and touch.  In addition there will be information and books about the Latin language.

The exhibition will be located in the ground floor Oculus beside the cafe and will run from 11am until 3pm.  Do come along and have a look at these fascinating, ancient items.
