Charles Hallé-The Man Behind the Band?

Come and help us celebrate Sir Charles Hallé’s 200th birthday. Robert Beale, Hallé’s biographer, will be talking about the man and the influences that formed him. As part of the birthday celebration we will be hearing one of Hallé’s piano compositions, Scherzo, Op. 4, played by Efstathios Chomatsas, who is currently studying for the Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) in Performance at the Royal Northern College of Music, and who appears by kind permission of the RNCM.
