Our special guest Cathy Shaw’s poems tend to be either gut wrenchingly sad or laugh out loud funny. Based in Hebden Bridge, she is a massage therapist and celebrant by day, and a poetry promoter and event host, creator of The Poetry of it All, and curator of the annual Heptonstall Spoken Word Festival.

N.B. Open mic slots are 3 minutes per performer – it is essential that you stay within this timeframe.
Performance slots are allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis from the stated booking time. If they are already filled, you will be offered a place on the reserve list.
